George Spangler

George Spangler is a retired computer systems analyst who began volunteering in various labs at the UCLA Cotsen Institute of Archaeology in 1994. In 1995, he began concentrating his efforts at the Rock Art Archive. George's primary responsibility is coordinating the fieldwork activities of the Archive. In addition to the above work, George spends his summers on the north coast of Peru, as a volunteer, excavating Moche and Chimu archaeological sites.
