East Asian Lab
The East Asian Lab is directed by Lothar von Falkenhausen, Professor of Art History and Associate Director of the Cotsen Institute. Since 1999, Falkenhausen has served as the American co-director of the ongoing UCLA-Peking University Joint Project on Landscape Archaeology and Ancient Salt Production in the Sichuan Region. The East Asian Lab is used primarily by graduate students to conduct independent research projects.
