The Channel Islands Lab is directed by Jeanne Arnold, Professor of Anthropology. She currently works on multiple projects: 1) The Archaeology of the Island Chumash of California; 2) Northwest Coast First Nations Houses and Households; and 3) Ethnoarchaeological Research: Built Environments and Material Culture in Present-Day Los Angeles through the Center on Everyday Lives of Families at UCLA. Several of her graduate students utilize the lab spaces and equipment for artifact analyses.
