Research Interests

High-resolution geophysical imaging of the shallow subsurface, application of isotopic methods for palaeodiet studies, reconstruction of palaeoclimate and palaeoshorelines, and AMS radiocarbon dating

Research Summary

My main interest is the use of remote sensing and geophysical methods to support archaeological studies. Presently, I am Co-Principal Investigator of the Skagafjöður Settlement Survey, Iceland, which involves the 3D imaging of buried Viking and medieval structures. Other projects include palaeoshoreline reconstructions around Greek islands and isotopic palaeodiet studies of the Mediterranean region.
