Cotsen Institute Director Charles Stanish, Professor of Anthropology, first wrote about how eBay has altered the transporting and selling of illegal artifacts in the 2008 issue of Backdirt: Annual Review, and after Archaeology magazine ran a version of it, the story has been picked up by numerous media outlets, including KPCC-89.3 FM’s “Patt Morrison Show,” Nature blog, and Scientific American.
