Congratulations to UCLA Archaeology Grad Students, Anne Austin, Catherine Pratt, and Trevor van Damme!

Anne was offered an Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship of Scholars in the Humanities Postdoctoral position in the History department at Stanford University. There were over 720 applicants and four rounds of review, so Anne feels very fortunate to have been given an offer!

Catherine successfully completed and filed her doctoral dissertation in early March, entitled: “Critical Commodities: Tracing Greek Trade in Oil and Wine from the Late Bronze Age to the Archaic Period.” Catherine is teaching at the University of Western Ontario in Canadia as a Lecturer.

Trevor has been offered the prestigious Emily Townsend Vermeule Fellowship as a Regular Member of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, where he will be based during the 2014-2015 academic year.
